We do not require an account and calculator inputs never leave your browser. This page sets out exactly what is collected, why, and for how long.
The short version
We do not require an account, we do not ask for personal information to use any calculator, and calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to us.

What we do not collect
- Calculator inputs. Everything you type into a calculator is processed by JavaScript in your browser. Dimensions, prices and results are never transmitted to our servers.
- Accounts. There are none.
- Payment details. Nothing on this site is paid for.
- Precise location. We do not request geolocation permission.
- Advertising identifiers. We do not operate an ad network or sell data to one.
Local storage
The calculators save two preferences in your browser's local storage: your preferred unit system and your preferred currency. This stays on your device, is never transmitted, and can be cleared at any time through your browser's site data settings.
Shareable result links
The "copy share link" button builds a URL containing your dimensions as query parameters. That link is created in your browser. If you choose to send it to someone, they will see those dimensions. We do not log the parameters.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Because we do not hold personal data tied to identifiable individuals, in practice there is very little for us to act on — but if you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will respond within one month.
Retention
Server logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted. Correspondence sent to us by email is retained for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, and for up to 24 months afterwards.
Children
This site is a professional and homeowner estimating tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially we will update the review date at the foot of this page and note the change here. This policy was last reviewed on 28 August 2026.
